About RugbyCritic

RugbyCritic tracks live scores, fixtures, standings, and power rankings across international and club rugby, and gives fans a place to rate matches, predict results, and discuss the game. We built it because we wanted one site that covered both Test and club rugby properly, with real fan input alongside the numbers — not just another results ticker.

Scores, standings, and statistics are pulled from licensed sports-data providers and updated automatically throughout the day; competition tables and power rankings are recomputed on a schedule so they reflect the latest results. Every news article and match report, however, is written or edited by a named member of our editorial team before it's published — see Meet the Editors.

Live scores and fixtures, league tables and standings, weekly Power Rankings, team and competition profiles, head-to-head history, match previews and recaps, and a fan community where you can rate matches, predict results, and comment. We cover both Test rugby (Six Nations, Rugby Championship, and international windows) and club competitions (URC, Top 14, Super Rugby Pacific, and others).

We use AI tools to help draft routine content like match previews and recaps from the underlying data, and to speed up research — but nothing publishes automatically. Every AI-assisted draft is reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by a human editor before it goes live, and we correct mistakes openly when we get something wrong. Automated data (scores, standings, odds) is sourced from third-party providers and can occasionally lag or contain errors; if you spot one, let us know and we'll fix it.

Some pages on this site display sports betting odds and links to sportsbook partners, some of which may be affiliate relationships that earn RugbyCritic a commission.
